This project comprises the construction of new hangars and associated amenities to accommodate the new NH90 and A109 helicopters for the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
The 8,200m2 building is concrete with a structural steel roof frame and Kingspan insulated roof cladding. Building services include an in-slab fire protection system; a 400Hz power supply for the aircraft; and an underfloor heating system, incorporating approximately 30km of pipework.
